I'm Jamie
I'm a writer, interested in the mind and how to keep it in good nick. My personal experience has taught me the importance of self-awareness and imagination; I need to be self-aware to know where I'm going right or wrong in life and I need imagination to make changes for the better. But it's some sense of the spiritual aspects of life, something loving and mysterious, that guides me.Â
I have another website called evrendeering.com. Evren Deering is my alter ego - the me that was brave enough to embark on this creative project. Evren could be considered as an archetype, a personality ideal or an adult version of an imaginary friend. What Compassion Focused Therapy would call a 'compassionate other'. What my writerly self would call a 'character'. I simply prefer the term 'friend'.

I have more of these firends and I want them to have a home here in INScapable. So, I will be sharing their stories with you because they have been teaching me for years, who I am, and what I'm capable of.
